Race Day!

Boat & Gear Drop-off, followed by another inspection. Once the inspections are completed, boats are positioned for the race. All of this takes place between 8am and 11am. The race officials introduce the teams and sponsors, then at noon the race is on.

Wildlife in the Northern Rockies of British Columbia

This is one of the coolest parts of our journey! The bears did not give us any sign that they were concerned by our passing by, the moose and the carribo were fairly shy, the bison and the mountain sheep noticed us, but did not mind hanging out in the middle of the road.

Checkpoint #7

The Coalminers Campground hosted this checkpoint. Their staff and the race volunteers did an amazing job for all of the racers! With 2 showers and 1 washer & dryer, teams were able to get cleaned up and have dry clothing to resume their race.

Hi Everyone,

As most of you have already seen or heard, our team scratched at Minto due to Tim coming down with a stomach virus. Major bummer all around, especially after such a strong start. Thank you all so much for all of your support on this adventure. We hope you enjoy the pictures!
